It has been a frantic few months polishing up the plans, registering our business and finding our brand. Our designer and friend Ana Zmire has worked tirelessly on our fantastic web site and wonderful logo. She has put up with our outrageous fussiness with admirable patience and genuine good humour. It is with sincere thanks to this young lady that we can announce our “going live” and publish this first blog!

We’ve combined all of the above with the not insignificant challenges of a fairly dramatic transition, from our home in the Serengeti, Tanzania to our current base camp in Munich, Germany. We still shake our boots out for scorpions and double check the path for hippo tracks each morning – the adjustment is easier said than done, remains bittersweet and is often questioned.

Of course we miss Tanzania and the charming simplicity of our life in the bush. The big wide-open spaces, the unreal sky-scapes and the boundless nature are difficult privileges to leave behind.

Most of all we miss the birdsong in the morning, the endless, cheerful greetings from our Swahili friends and the chance of hearing the lions call outside the room at night or viewing elephants, on the horizon, from our terrace in the morning. However, for the time being at least, the wilderness will have to wait. There are seeds to plant, people to meet, fish to fry and dreams to fulfil. We are dedicating our efforts in introducing new friends, from all walks of life to adventures and experiences in some of the world’s most beautiful places.

These areas of outstanding natural beauty are our greatest passion, our first visiting them changed both our lives entirely for the better and we’ve come all the way to this point in the story in order to share them with you.

So without further ado we would like to introduce our private guiding & wildlife-adventure travel business. It’s really exciting, it’s brand spanking new and it’s deep rooted in the hearts of these two bushwhackers!

You are cordially invited to join us…….
